SLU-PP-332 is a synthetic small molecule developed at Saint Louis University as an agonist of the estrogen-related receptors ERRα, ERRβ and ERRγ — orphan nuclear receptors that regulate genes involved in mitochondrial biogenesis and oxidative metabolism.

Estrogen-Related Receptors
Despite their name, ERRs do not bind estrogen. They are constitutively active nuclear receptors that partner with the co-activator PGC-1α. Synthetic agonists such as SLU-PP-332 are used to probe ERR-driven transcription in cell models.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does SLU-PP-332 bind the estrogen receptor?
No. It targets the estrogen-related receptors (ERRs), which are distinct from estrogen receptors.
Is SLU-PP-332 for human use?
No. Cleared Peptides supplies SLU-PP-332 for laboratory research use only; it is not for human or veterinary use.
